The online features
for this issue are audio examples for the article "The Rehearsal
Techniques of Margaret Hillis: Their Development and Application to Brahms
German Requiem, by Cheryl Frazes Hill".
Note: In order to hear the following
examples, you'll need to have RealPlayer or RealOne on your computer.
You might already have it, so first try clicking on one of the links to
see what happens. If you don't yet have it, a free version is available
by clicking on the image to the right (the free version is named "RealOne
Player." They will try to get you to subscribe to the "SuperPass"
version for about $9.95/month.) These examples won't work if you have
an older RealPlayer program, such as version 5.0 or earlier. You must
have a more recent version, either RealPlayer 7, 8, G2, or RealOne.
Please make sure you have the October 2002 issue of
the Choral Journal in front of you. Details about the following
example are found in the article.
